Since our semester was so successful, we thought it would be a good idea to make a training video for all the new employees we would be hiring.

* We also had to make a video to summarize our semester as a class requirement

In addition to the new logo, Above the Fold created a whole new identity for Keys to Work. The new identity focuses on the passion Keys to Work has for who they serve and what they do while also pointing out that they are a local company.

All the photography was done by our team and the people in the photographs are real associates of Keys to Work.

We met with Keys to Work to present our ideas for the new campaign we are developing for them. We each presented a concept and made a recommendation as to which one we think will be most successful. Keys to Work agreed with our recommendation, so now we are firing up the computers, clicking the mice, and making some work.

We went to Keys to Work on Friday to discuss the new mission statement we developed as well as the top three logos from the collection we produced.
Above is the logo they chose.

We spent time developing a new mission statement for Keys to Work.  We asked for feedback from other student groups to help get a fresh perspective. After our collaboration we created a final statement.

"To create a positive impact on our community by providing resources and multiple employment solutions to motivate those seeking assistance to re-enter the workforce"

We met with Jannett, Thelma and Kevin from Keys to Work this last Wednesday to present our research overview. The meeting produced a lot of great discussion and understanding about their organization. Now we move forward to crafting the Creative Brief and begin work on finding some solutions to help Keys to Work compete in a tough market.

The team has finished our research and now we are going through it to find the main facts and create a “32,000” foot view of our client and the context they exist in.

Hard at work, dividing up the research.

After developing an identity, the next obvious step was to make some business cards for our introduction to our client.

Above the Fold is a team of Herron Visual Communications students. Ashley Allred, Joe Wallace, Evan Strater and Eric Gray make up our team. We are excited to be working with Keys to Work, a staffing agency here in Indianapolis.
Our team name refers to the design theory originally used in newspapers (now also for websites) of keeping the most relevant, attention grabbing headlines “above the fold” to get attention on the busy newsstand.
We are excited to get started and expect to make a difference for Keys to Work.
